However, the mood was s... read more The experience began on a high note with a friendly greeting from the lovely hostess and delicious food that surpassed our expectations. However, the mood was soured by the unfriendly chef who seemed to view our presence in his restaurant as a burden. His brief appearance at our table overshadowed the overall ambiance of what should have been a memorable dining experience in this charming part of Devon.
