While some diners were left disappointed by the quality of the rolls and service, others praised the affordable prices, fresh ingredients, and friendly staff. Highlights include delicious fried rice, sweet potato tempura sushi rolls, and perfectly seasoned chirashi. Overall, the restaurant seems to cater to both those looking for a quick takeout option and those seeking a pleasant dining experience near the National Zoo.
My favorite sushi restaurant in dc! affordable prices, good quality and friendly staff! great location, either get the tour and take it into the park or zoo or eat after the zoo. I just wish you had a bigger radius of penetration! It's okay, but I just want to find out more to get it!
Simply one of my favorite sushi/Japanese restaurants in dc. near the national zoo from the woodley metro, this is a real neighborhood girl with great quality with fresh ingredients and they do not get on the meat, plus friendly staff. I have come to this place since 2014 and every time I dinate or food they do not disappoint.
Great staff they are super attentive! The food is ok, a lot of it has great flavor but some of the more seafood seafood things I. The buffet was a little lacking. All the chicken and beef dishes were flavorful and tender though. Sushi is great a small selection but great. Over all a wonderful dining experience!Food: 4/5
Excellent takeout for a family visiting DC. We really enjoyed the fried rice and were especially happy with the sweet potato tempura sushi roll. Delish fresh flavors in the pineapple fried rice and chicken fried rice.
This place is actually not bad. They got some really nice specialty rolls. However, every last item on their 3 people platter has imitation crab in it. Also, when we ordered our platter did not come with any ginger or wasabi, so we had to go to the store and buy it. I would recommend you order individual items, and also maybe just go and dine in (haven’t done that myself though).
