I was here for a celebration party after a law-school graduation, so my experience here may not be typical, as they made up a special menu for the
*brunch/lunch review* i wouldn't ever run to georgetown for food (just being honest!) but if i happen to be here during a meal time typically brunch/lunch,
Went for happy hour so everything we ordered was off of the hh menuLovely patio seatingFairly attentive serverPimms cup was delicious.
Ok experience. Borderline 3/4 stars. The cheeseburger (pictured below) was mediocre. The fries were bland and very thin, almost noodle like. The patty itself was alright but certainly didn’t justify the $17.50 price tag; I also requested medium rare, butit came out medium well/well done (something I wouldn’t really care about for a cheaper burger). Some redeeming factors: the waitstaff were very kind and accommodating my mom loved her tuna salad (also pictured); perhaps I should’ve known betterthan to order a burger at a place like this
This place was spot on. We showed up without a res, but they made it work quickly. The menu is deep, but everything we had tasted either as good or better than expected. For example, the tomato soup was one of the best my wife and I had ever had. The veggie chili tastes like.. really good regular chili. The crab cake was mostly lump crab and everything else we tasted waslike you would want it and the service was also spot on (attentive and friendly). Prices too were very reasonable for theexperience. Will definitely be back. A local friend recommended it to us.
