Our second time at La Base, this time with the family. We knew what to expect from our first visit and even enjoyed the bath I got from a misguided wine pouring! Keep up the good work!
Very good food, well prepared. Very careful with my kids and elder parents. Great ambience, but too noisy for nice conversation. Exceptional steak tartare, gougeres and chicken liver cornets. Reasonable prices, but the surcharge fee is not a good policy.
The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the food! We arrived hungry after a long day and left feeling satisfied. If you enjoy French cuisine, this restaurant is a fantastic place to visit. The manager made a point to visit most tables for a chat, showing a genuine interest in her customers. Our server also checked in with us multiple times, ensuring we were well taken care of. We highly recommend this restaurant! Keep in mind that it is a small establishment, so it is best to make reservations in advance.
The hostess greeted us warmly and made us feel at home as soon as we entered the restaurant.
