Went three times. Better for brunch than dinner, and better for sweets than for salty foods. The strüdel is amazing and the pastries are delicious. read moreKafe Leopold, located just off the bustle of Georgetown, offers a pleasant European dining experience with a lovely patio and fountain. While some found the main entrées to be average for the price, the strüdel and pastries were highlighted as delicious. Brunch options like the Mediterranean breakfast and avocado toast were well-received, especially when paired with the Emperor pancakes and mimosas. The schnitzel and Austrian coffee were also recommended. The attention to detail and quality ingredients in the dishes were lauded, with favorites like the plum pancakes and salmon-spinach omelet standing out. However, some found certain dishes like the pistachio dessert and avocado toast to be lacking in flavor. With friendly service and a high-end ambiance, Kafe Leopold is a great spot to experience Austrian cuisine in Georgetown, although prices may be on the higher side. Overall, the restaurant receives praise for its flavorful offerings and European charm.
