Contribute FeedbackOverall, the restaurant offers a mix of Indian and Nepalese cuisine, with some diners feeling disappointed by the lack of authentic Nepalese options on the menu. However, the food is generally tasty and reasonably priced, with a focus on accommodating different tastes and preferences. While service can be hit or miss, most reviewers find the staff to be friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming for families, despite some limitations on children's menu options. Despite some issues with pacing and menu choices, the restaurant remains a popular choice for those visiting the area.
We really enjoyed dining at the Himalayan Heritage restaurant. The ambiance was fun and the service was great. The food was delicious and everyone found something they liked (actually, all four of us enjoyed everything we ordered we shared it all). For a really fun ethnic experience, I highly recommend. Do note parking is difficult to find in this area suggest Uber or Metro.
The food was flavorful and had an appetizing aroma. The spiciness was as asked for and not overbearing. The team was apologetic as they were short staffed and let us know as we walked in. This didn't affect our experience at all.
One of my favourites in DC!! Amazing experience, wonderful service and the food its to die for!
We had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. The butter chicken and goat curry were both delicious, and the garlic naan was made fresh. The mango lassis were a hit with the kids, who finished all their dishes. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely return. We were visiting from out of town.
I went to a restaurant with my friends and we ordered momos, and two Nepalese curries - lamb and chicken. The chicken curry was a bit sweet, but both dishes were well-spiced. The atmosphere had nice South Asian decor. The service was attentive and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely come back to this restaurant.
