Don't be daunted by how cool this place looks. The staff is very friendly, the drinks are priced below DC averages, and they are really, very good. I usually prefer beer over cocktails, but these are interesting recipes, executed by a dedicated staff, which results in drinks that are a revelation. A neighborhood staple! My favorite is Walter back on the patio and he is the kindest soul in the city. He is the warmest and makes us feel like this place is our home! Love coming here every day of the week.
Hank's Oyster bar never disappoints. Always the best oysters in town! The staff was amazing.
Had oysters on half shell and oyster Rockefeller pasta. Both delicious. The bar was not very crowded but had to wait for a while for my check, so only a 4 for service.
I came here for dinner on Saturday night 9/2 and was very pleased with the friendly service and delicious food. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I opted for outdoor seating.First off, the oysters are delicious. My waitress was so friendly and offered 6 different types all were delicious! I also enjoyed some octopus with tomatoes, asparagus, and potatoes one of their specials, also delicious For my large meal I ordered chicken schnitzel with asparagus and their Mac and cheese which also is AMAZING Service here is great and the food is yummy. I’m from out of town but when im in the DC area again, I will be returning!
Who knew that Hank's oysters could be a great brunch spot! My favorite thing on the menu is the oyster poi boy. And big shout out to the service, especially with managing large groups.
