What Cam Tu Truong doesn't like about Daikaya:
It was an ok experience, the cups of water were a little dirty with stuff in it. The ramen soup was full of flavors, but it was really salty. They were out of almost all appetizers when we were there at 2pm. For $17/bowl is expensive and not worth it. For 5 people, bill come out to be $114 tips. View all feedback. What RichardS likes about Daikaya:
We really enjoyed our time. Arrived during happy hour, but they also have a great selection of Japanese shochu and also mock tail options. The food was fantastic. Ambiance felt very authentic. Highly recommend for a informal relaxed fun time. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant, located near the Gallery in DC, offers a mix of ramen and izakaya dishes. While some patrons experienced delays in service and issues with missing items, the food that did arrive was described as flavorful and delicious. The ramen, in particular, received high praise for its complex and exquisite flavors. The atmosphere was noted as great, with quick and prompt service. Overall, despite some shortcomings, the restaurant seems to be a popular choice for those looking for a unique dining experience in a vibrant setting.

Friendly service. Bustling atmosphere. Fun tunes. Most importantly, the best vegan ramen I’ve tried. Back soon!
I get the vegetarian ramen everytime and it's always amazing, with extra seaweed and the vegan spice bomb
