I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. They literally called me 5 minutes before our NYE reservation to let us know that they were out of menu items. When we got to the restaurant, they told us they were out of even more menu items. Very very poor planning and I am very disappointed. This was my NYE plans and I was unable to enjoy it and had to look for other person. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for poorly managing this business
We had a pleasant dinner at this ramen place near the Gallery in DC. Everything we had was delicious: both the shoyu and the spicy miso ramen were great. We had the spring rolls to complete the meal. Service was correct (thanks, Jess).
A friend recommended the Shoyu ramen. It didn't disappoint. The flavor was complex and exquisite. My friend adds pork belly, I added extra veggies. It may be the best I've ever had. I also tried the Shio and it was good, but more typical and not near as good as the Shoyu.
This is a cool restaurant that also has an upstairs Izikaya bar where you can wait until your table is ready. The highballs upstairs tasted good and are made strong as they should be. The ramen comes in six options and my friend and I went with thetraditional Shio and Shoyu. My friend also got the Gyoza which tasted pretty good but was air fried. Overall, the ramen andGyoza were delicious but this place is a little expensive. They add 22% gratuity to all orders... Two drinks came out to $35 andthe ramen was around $31.
It was an ok experience, the cups of water were a little dirty with stuff in it. The ramen soup was full of flavors, but it was really salty. They were out of almost all appetizers when we were there at 2pm. For $17/bowl is expensive and not worth it. For5 people, bill come out to be $114 tips.
