What Lexi Boyer likes about Bread Salt:
I probably eat at Bread and Salt at least twice a month because it's my mother's favorite nearby restaurant. The food is always good with many Mediterranean and vegetarian choices, a nice burger and some delicious clay pot meals. There are also a couple of delicious Egyptian specialties such as the eggah omelette. Service has been spotty in the past but much better lately. I look forward to warmer weather when I can... Our party of 6 went to Bread and Salt in the week between Christmas and New year's. While the food was perfectly acceptable, the service was unbearably slow. Although the restaurant had only a few tables filled, the single waiter appeared sporadically and our food did not appear for more than an hour after we ordered. read moreBread and Salt offers a diverse menu with Mediterranean and vegetarian delights, alongside notable Egyptian specialties. While many diners rave about the quality and freshness of the food, recent experiences highlight a troubling trend in service. Patrons have reported long wait times, with meals arriving inconsistently and staff lacking engagement. Despite the restaurant's appealing dishes and reasonable prices, inefficiencies in service have left some guests frustrated and unwilling to return. As Bread and Salt navigates these challenges, focusing on enhancing customer service could elevate the dining experience to match the culinary quality.
