What donwest likes about Afterwords Cafe:
Afterwords is a fun place to go even though it is not my favorite restaurant by any means. However, last Saturday 29-Mar-08 I ordered a Jumbo Lump Crab Quesadilla $14.95 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The lump crab portion was generous; the quesadilla was just the right texture. Awesome warm, wild berry pie. “Google” chicken fried steak could come with less fussy gravy… aggressive use of black pepper is not compelling technique.

A genius concept!! A bookshop/bar/restaurant/cafe with a simple imaginative menu with the best strawberry pie you will ever taste!!!
