I had the shrimp noodle bowl from this restaurant and it was incredibly tasty! The service was fantastic and the staff was very attentive. I will definitely be returning here again. The prices are very affordable, especially for the quality of the food. It seems like the business has been a bit slow, so I hope more people stop by and give them a try. View all feedback.
I highly recommend trying the tofu shell with peanut sauce. The sauces are all vegan-friendly and delicious.
This restaurant in DC is one of my favorite spots for a light lunch. They offer rice, noodle, and salad bowls with a Southeast Asian twist. The dressings are fish sauce and acid-based, giving the dishes a delicious and refreshing flavor. During my first visit, I noticed that one of the owners was working the front, giving the salad a little extra love. However, on my recent visit, the employee who helped me was still very friendly. The chicken salad is always a great choice, with the option to adjust the level of spiciness. There are also vegan dressings and a variety of protein options, including a chickpea curry. The standout dish for me this time was the butter semolina cake. It was incredibly soft and creamy, with a warm syrup, nuts, and a light texture that perfectly complemented the meal. A decadent way to end an otherwise light meal.
Cool little place that threw together a great salad. the place is like sweet greens with an Asian swirl. I ordered an salad, the fish sauce in the dressur and really enjoyed it.
I got the the Chick Pea Curry Salad with Brown rice and chicken. This was my first time eating at Bandoola Bowl. The bowl was fresh and tasted really good. The service was top notch! The guy making my bowl was very friendly and made recommendations of things to add to my bowl. The bowl was a lot of food for what you pay for( for DC standards). I will definitely be coming back to try the noodles here next time!
THAI/BURMESE CHIPOTLE : if you 're a fan of Chipotle, Bandoola is an Asian Fusion version of that. You choose a base of rice, salad, or spicy noodles. Then you choose a protein such as chicken, roasted pork, shrimp or chickpeas. Then you add on the variety of chopped veggies you want. Finally, of course, you choose what kind of Asian flavored dressing you prefer and they mix it all up and serve it in a bowl. None of the ingredients are hot because all the meat is precooked and chilled. Flavors are bold but not super authentic. The portion sizes are good and it 's a healthy meal option. Overall it 's worth trying!
