We stopped for breakfast and it was good. My husband had been hankering for sausage for a couple of days. The meals were HUGE so he ate his big breakfast and more than half of my scrambled egg and sausage. Needless to say it will be soup for tea tonight. Great spot for families, efficient friendly staff. What User doesn't like about Country Cafe:
We ordered two bits of toast each. $4.50! Each!! We weren't asked if we wanted white or brown. We were expecting some nice bug chunky sourdough or tasty homemade bread like we get at other cafes, but when it came out, it was the cheapest thinnest toast you can get. And just warm. No vegemite or peanut butter on offer either. No dogs allowed in the outdoor undercover area either. Huge turn off. Wont be back. View all feedback.
We found this place through following a tourist information brochure. It's a small town so I don't think there's much choice anyway, but we were very satisfied with what we had.I had a vanilla slice and my husband had a filled bread roll. Mine was really nice, and my husband said his was too. The prices seemed reasonable. The place was clean and bright, the bathroom was clean, and the staff were pleasant. Those are important things. There was seating inside and outside, and a lovely children's playground.
Great place to stop for a break or a bite to eat when traveling. Easy parking out front if you have a caravan or trailer. Good food and toilets are clean.

Have been working nearby for several months and visit this cafe regularly. Coffee is very good and the toasted sandwiches are first rate. Staff are always pleasant and I have no hesitation in recommending this cafe.
Travelling along the Southwest Highway, avoiding the huddle and bustle of the freeway. Lovely spot to stop and refresh those little engines, stretch those legs. Amazing treats for all to enjoy, even a few of the old favourites I enjoyed as a child. The salads are amazing and very tasty, definitely visit again.
