The Millhouse Restaurant and Coffee Shop

There was 7 of us that called in for lunch, it was not that busy so we ordered, then got told it would be about 40 mins wait. We sat down and waited my partner and I had ordered first before the family of 5 in my group. Our drinks come along I had a ice coffee (milky coffee with ice, sugar and cream), my partner had ice chocolate, it was no better and my daughter had and ice mocha (milk shake mocha). The family of 5 got there meal finely, after a while we had to ask where our order was about 10 mins later we got ours and to top it of it was not that good. Also sign outside says meals all day but customers where being told kitchen was closed at 13.15.

Took over a hour to get our food, and when we finally recieved it the chicken burger was uneatable. Would not eat there again.

Unfortunately we were reallyDisappointed with this place. My friends ordered cooked food and took nearly an hour to come out. Chicken burger was very average - very greasy and no flavor. Also Luke warm. Won't be coming back. Scones and milkshakes were good though! Should stick with being a cafe.

I really liked this place. It's not as swanky as the cafe down the street, but it's much quieter with decent honest food. The lady was really friendly and polite and the ambience was pleasant

We took our children and grandchildren for brunch. The meal was ok but we won't go again. Plenty of room for the kids to run about. They had pancakes and really enjoyed them. We were the only customers.
