You won't be sorry you stopped here to have a dosa! Don't let the simple unassuming shop & decor put you off. The proof is in the 'dosa' or pudding as they say. Freshly made on the spot, crispy and delicious. A very friendly owner who cooks herself behind the counter. The goat curry smelt amazing and we were very satisfied with our dinner. They have been around for 9 years and just celebrating the start of going into... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dosa House:
Here is a speciality restaurant that makes Dosas, with a range of over 10 dosa fillings to choose from, together with goat curry and a few Indian dishes. The Dosas are fresh made on the spot and are quite delicious and filling, my family and myself like going here. Cold drinks available and I even saw a couple sharing a bottle of Rose so I presume BYO alcohol is acceptable. View all feedback.
There is nothing fake or pretentious about this place. I love the humble welcoming atmosphere (kids are enjoyed there) with the absolutely genuine cuisine. Even better that EVERYTHING on the menu is hand made from scratch, even the yoghurt for lassi. I've been coming here for over 5 years. Always packed with Indians good sign of home comfort food. The owner Jeyanthi is my favourite part. Dosa Mum. Always so eager to please.
This is the best dosa spot in town. The food tastes just like homemade. The women at Dosa House are very kind and welcoming.
We absolutely adore the super crispy Dosas at this restaurant! The service is consistently excellent and the food is delicious. Plus, the kids are happy to sit and enjoy their meals as well.
Daddy had the kiddos for the day and they suggested we try something we didn’t usually have so opted for this rather unassuming little eatery. Pleasantly surprised by the food. As the name implies, food served here is main a variety of the humble dosa, crispy wafer thin pieces of flat grilled batter with stuffing for your choosing. We settled on the Cheese Masala (potato) Dosa and the Masala only Dosa. Both were made on the spot and the kids dug into crunchy yumminess! Also ordered 2 mango lassi (yogurt/buttermilk drink). Refreshing!
Dosa House in Sydney is a hidden gem that offers some of the best South Indian dishes in town. Their menu is far superior to what you would typically find in an Indian food court. My favorite dishes are the idli sambar and masala dosa, and sometimes I indulge in a gulab jamun for dessert. The chutneys and sambar are so delicious that I often find myself eating them on their own after finishing my meal. If you're looking for tasty and authentic Indian cuisine, Dosa House is a must-try!
