The Blue Gum Hotel - WAITARA

Came here for a little event with my friends. Once the command was made, we waited a bit and everyone got his command except me. Apparently my order was not properly placed and they made a cheeseburger instead of schinitzel. I have no idea how this happened. whether it was the person who picked up the command or the guy who told the waiter our command. the girl I spoke with said that there was not even a carving on the order and showed me the reception, although I wrote my order on the youngs phone with all the others on the waiter. despite the confusion she spoke to the cook and he gave me a knot, said the girl at the theke, it would minen for it to be ready. instead of going to the tresor to get my food, they delivered it directly to my table that was really nice! the food was absolutely delish! crispy and well crooked schnitty (beautiful color also), mushroom sauce was really delicious! good chips and good salat. I am incredibly grateful to the staff that he is patient with me as to the confusion of orders. I am not sure what happened, but the situation has been corrected and all were great! will come back to the future sometime. ps that mars bar calzone is awesome!

The craft beer on tap are great, but eating is on average. soggy, fat salt and pepper silk, lambsalat tasted together with tasteless lamb. are often here, but always with an underwhelming eating experience. the staff is great, but eating doesn't fit...up

Two of us enjoyed a lovely lunch today for Australia Day, a Caesar salad for me and eye fillet steak for my man, both delicious, washed down with a bottle of Pinot Grigio, in cool air conditioned comfort. A great way to spend a special...day at our local pub.

Popped into our local for a quick Saturday lunch today....somebody needs to show them how to make a margarita pizza! There was soooooo much cheese it was like eating a cheese pizza. Good red wines on offer, but the pizzas leave a lot to be...desired.

Was ok. Abit disappointed in the menu. Haven't been for awhile and pretty sure menu was different. Still enjoyable. Great place for a few drinks though. Staff great . Ribs was nice and messy and parmi schnitzel ok.
