We've been to the 2x4 several times for breakfast and for lunch, always looking for what everyone else was bragging about. Unfortunately, our last visit really was that...our last visit. We want to support local businesses, but there are better restaurants in the area that will get our business.I ordered the "homemade" corned beef hash and eggs. The corned beef hash was slices of corned beef (like from a deli, cut up and put with potatoes. Really? That's NOT corned beef hash! My husband ordered the french toast. It was okay but really nothing special. We've been there for lunch with friends and thought the burgers were again nothing special. The servers were very friendly and attentive. We wish we could like this restaurant more, but we won't be back.

This is the only place in the world that my four kids clean there plates! Breakfast, lunch , or dinner. Sometimes it gets busy , but for a good reason .

We are here on a regular basis either just the two of us or with friends. It's our go-to breakfast place. Everything on their menu is delicious and we have always had good service.

We ordered the 2x 6 breakfast for $15, which was a great deal. I appreciated that they listed their suppliers, all of which are local, on the menu to highlight the freshness of their ingredients. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, creating a really nice and welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be making this a regular weekend stop. My only minor complaint would be the absence of French toast on the menu, but the pancakes and hash browns more than made up for it.

I have known of this restaurant for years, as it has changed owners multiple times and even experienced a significant fire a few years ago. It is only open for breakfast and lunch. Despite driving by many times, I never had the chance to stop until recently when I finally had breakfast there. The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly, and the food was excellent. It was evident that they make an effort to source their products locally, which was a nice touch. I am glad that I finally had the opportunity to stop and I would recommend it to others looking for a good breakfast spot in the area.
