Go here. Food is great. The atmosphere is intimate. This is a single family owned small business. The waiteress/ bus /hostess is the owner who is so considerate and charming. So happy we stumbled on this gem. If you are from Eastern Europe, you should especially go here. View all feedback.
What Eric Jaeger doesn't like about Gondola Pizza:
Trash pizza. Extra sauce please on an order doesn 't mean an extra gallon. Maybe it 's better if there 's someone competent preparing it, but there 's nothing about the pizza I received that indicates anything other than an employee being a total jagweed because they didn 't like the extra sauce please they read on the ticket. Poor gut was all by himself but without fail he could greet customers, take orders, serve and bus tables, be cordial and collect bills! Pizza was good too!
We had a delicious and relaxing dinner here. Pizza was so tasty, salad was fresh and a great size and house wine was very good. Our server, owner’s daughter, was very nice and attentive. We got to chat with the owner and had a wonderful conversation. They’ve been open for years. That should tell you how good it is.
1st time trying this place out pizza was delicious.
En route to Fruita from Golden, and the family was hungry for pizza dinner. Stopped at Gondola and it was so great! Not only was the food super yummy, the service was AMAZING! Our server was so kind, efficient, and extremely sweet! Definitely coming back every time we’re on our way to the desert!
We cannot say enough good things about this place! The pizza is spot-on: thinner crust but still CRUST it’s not flimsy! , delicious toppings and cheese. Thr salad we orders was super fresh and full of different veggies. CLEAN atmosphere and restrooms ! , but the star of the show is the service! My goodness! Our server anticipated our every need before we even knew we needed it. SO kind. SO generous. And the tab?! Outrageously affordable! Locally owned. In short, EAT HERE!
