What Linda Michelsen dislikes about Matsuhisa:
It was EXTREMELY NOISY. In the front of the restaurant was a large wedding rehearsal party complete with live music. But directly behind us was another large group running a microphone and video simultaneously with the wedding party. All of that was in addition to an extremely crowded restaurant filled with normal restaurant noises. Virtually impossible to speak or hear over the din. I never complain about noise. Thi... Amazing food and great experience Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
An absolutely stunning meal. The sashimi/nigiri selection was extensive and every piece was delicious. The self cooked waygu on a salt block was stole the show for me as such a fun and interactive dining experience. The entire staff was knowledgeable and welcoming and ensured we had a great evening. My friends and I agreed this was the best dinner in Vail. Service: Dine in
Everything was exceptional. Sushi, wine, dessert. Great service as well. Highly recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Nigiri and Rolls
I thought the restaurant was good! I had been to a different location before, and this one had a more energetic vibe. The service was a bit slow we sat down right after a party of 25, but I still thought that it was lacking given the price of things. The food was good I surprisingly liked the hot foods better than the sushi!
I went for my birthday dinner and the server knew about it. At the end of dinner he brings the check and I asked “nothing for the birthday?” And he said we usually bring a candle. And he never brought anything besides the check.
