Located conveniently for travelers, 3 Gringos presents itself as a vibrant Mexican eatery, yet diners are met with a range of experiences. While some guests appreciate the friendly service and a BYO policy, others are disappointed by the lack of flavor and quality in dishes like nachos and burritos. Enticing presentations can mask underwhelming tastes, leading to mixed reviews on the food's authenticity and seasoning. Was John Alhelm at 3 Gringos Mexican a mag?
Myself and my wife went to 3 gringos for dinner. Food was amazing as was the service. We had the enchilada burrito combination I had the chicken and prawns and my wife had the beef and chicken both of us were pleased with the quality and freshness. We had both the young female and male serve us and they were both very professional and pleasant. I had the cheese cake and it's by far the best cheese cake I've ever had... View all feedback.

What Eva Abbott dislikes about 3 Gringos Mexican:
I ordered a Bean Burrito for $23, and it turned out to be just beans—no peppers, onions, or any of the usual Mexican ingredients. The flavor was decent, but it really missed the mark overall. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. I've attached photos of what I would call "Bean Puree" filling. View all feedback.

The dining experience was excellent, featuring a more modern style compared to their traditional Mexican restaurant. The prices are also quite reasonable. While the atmosphere isn’t spectacular, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's a BYO establishment for alcohol, and there's a bottle shop with a good selection just around the corner.

This is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever visited. It's not fancy, but the food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The burrito was fantastic, packed with great flavors, and the salsa had the perfect amount of kick. The corn chip dip was also tasty, and I have to give a special mention to the refried beans dip — it was simply amazing!

I visited 3 Gringos twice during my stay in Vincentia, and both experiences left me very impressed with the food. On my first visit, we shared a plate of fajitas, which included a delightful mix of seafood and chicken—absolutely fantastic and bursting with flavor (see attached pic). During my second visit, I ordered the beef chimichanga, which was incredibly delicious, while my husband chose the creamy prawn enchilada, which was also excellent. I give the food a perfect 5/5 for its rich flavors and beautiful presentation. The portion sizes were generous too. We also appreciated the friendly and prompt service. I will definitely return when we're back in the area!
