Ospi - Venice
Ospi
Description
Ospi presents a vibrant mix of pasta-driven cuisine, highlighted by frequent praises for its homemade dishes like the Cacio e Pepe and Spicy Rigatoni. The atmosphere is lively, though diners often experience quick table turnover, which may detract from the overall dining experience. While some guests laud the attentive service, others note occasional lapses in attentiveness. Menu highlights include crispy provolone and hearty meatballs, but portion sizes and pricing may raise eyebrows. Despite its inconsistent execution, many agree that the flavors are compelling enough to warrant a return visit, especially for pasta enthusiasts.

Typical Italian dishes, successful. I loved the breaded povolone with tomato vodka sauce
Ospi Venice is easily one of the best dining spots in Venice! We ordered the cavatelli, the pepperoni pizza, and the tiramisu, and every dish was outstanding. The cavatelli was perfectly cooked with amazing texture and rich flavor. The pepperoni pizza had that signature Ospi crisp crust and high-quality toppings that make it unforgettable. And the tiramisu was light, creamy, and the perfect finish to the meal. The service was friendly, the atmosphere felt relaxed but upscale, and everything came out fresh and fast. If you’re looking for great pasta, incredible pizza, and a consistently top-tier restaurant experience in Venice, CA, Ospi is a must-visit. Highly recommend! Great place! Our server was Joe who was so sweet and answered all questions! Food was delicious! No complaints. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+
The layout of the place sucks. There’s outdoor seating and only one door so every 5 seconds the door swings open and a gust of cold air comes and disrupts your meal. Had to dock 1.5 stars for this alone. Food was good I would recommend the spare ribpasta. The crab pasta was interesting but not my favorite. The crispy provolone is fun, get that. And the cauliflower isfine. We also got the mushroom pizza. A bit bland and the crusts here are thin style (not my preference). Pasta portions aretiny for the price.
