Found this place on the way to Kensico dam plaza. Not really vegan friendly but overall beautiful place to eat and watch the trains go by.
This place has been a personal favorite for over 20 years for me. You can't beat the amazing food and presentation, the atmosphere is classic and nostalgic, and always friendly staff. The bar feels like a blast from the past, with affordable prices, which is hard to find. Will always recommend the Crossing
We had not been here in a while and wanted to try something different. Our reaction was ?meh?. My youngest enjoyed his giant pretzel but then had no interest in his overcooked sliders. My other son got an Orange Chicken Bowl that was supposed to be?sweet and spicy? but was just mostly spicy rice with very little chicken. He didn?t touch it past the initial taste. Mysausage broccoli rabe wedge was ok, but messy (used a knife and fork to eat) and nothing to write home about. Needless tosay, with so many options in the area, we will not be heading back anytime soon.
First time I went the service was amazing, probably because it wasn't too busy. Went recently this past weekend and the service was a bit slow due to it being somewhat busy. Waiter was cordial and food was great.
