All f... read more As soon as we arrived, we were blown away by how wonderful the place was. The quality of the Italian food was exactly what my friends and I had hoped for. All five of us are business owners, and I ordered the Dover Sole, which was beautifully filleted right in front of me. Every dish, from appetizer to dessert, was incredible. I highly recommend IL Castello. The owner is very attentive and genuinely focuses on providing memorable hospitality experiences. My friends and I have already decided to come back next month!

He is charming and well-informed about his menu, knowing just when to engage with guests and when to give them space—he truly makes the place what it is. The food is fantastic, with every dish exceeding expectations. I always try to order from the specials when I visit. Additionally, their desserts all look amazing, but I can only personally vouch for the cannoli, which is outstanding; I order it every time. This has become my go-to restaurant, and I'm really glad it's in my neighborhood.

The back area felt secure and inviting, thanks to the heaters and well-spaced tables. Lenny delivered exceptional service, recommending a delicious and affordably priced bottle of wine, and even took the time to split our shared entrees onto individual plates in the kitchen. It felt like dining in a professional Italian home, surrounded by delicious food. We ended our meal with a delightful cappuccino and homemade limoncello. We highly recommend this restaurant. Our meals arrived hot and exactly as we requested. The service was exceptional. The Dover sole was prepared in a delightful lemon sauce, and the duck was crispy on the outside while remaining juicy on the inside, complemented perfectly by a tangy cranberry sauce. I did miss the tableside preparation for the Caesar salad and the finishing touches on the fish, which always added a special touch to our dining experience here. Valet parking is available if needed, and there is ample street parking, as well as parking across the street in the Metro-North lot.
