Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant, styled to look like a vintage European spot, received mixed reviews from diners. Some found the food to be mediocre for the high prices, with dishes like pork ribs and pork schnitzel falling short of expectations. Others were disappointed with the lackluster service, particularly when it came to explaining the fondue experience and addressing spills. Some long-time fans lamented the shift to a fixed price fondue-only menu, feeling that the quality had declined. However, there were also glowing reviews praising the Austrian cuisine, like the Stiegl Pretzel combo and the KaisersMarren dessert, and noting the exceptional service. Overall, opinions were varied, with some eager to return and others feeling let down by the experience.
Great culinary experience. the children loved family style fondue and were super impressed by the authentic atmosphere in the colorado alpen. ehh rockies.
Wonderful experience! that was our first time in vail, so ofcourse we wanted to try a German restaurant. it was hard to find a reservation, but once we managed it was great! from eating to service. I would have liked the water replenishment to have been a bit more frequent, but everything else was spectacular. great ambiente! and our waitress was amazing!
