Food was delicious and the chicken h... read more Excellent food and friendly service. My children absolutely loved the beef and ate better than I have seen in a long time!! Food was delicious and the chicken had an amazing flavour and was so juicy. Roast pumpkin was best I have had. Only downside was that they didn't take credit so had to get cash since our debit card was from Australia. But they were friendly even through the process of discovering that after we ordered.

The missus loves the fish and chips.   I personally like the chicken schnitzel for making sammies at home.  The chips are VERY good.  The char-broiled chicken i... read more The missus loves the fish and chips.   I personally like the chicken schnitzel for making sammies at home.  The chips are VERY good.  The char-broiled chicken is a nice alternative to KFC and heaps better than Nandos.  The flavour reminds me of a place in California US called El Pollo Loco. A great addition to the variety of eateries and apparently a legend in the Upper Hutt.  I would recommend.

Brilliant service and always a guaranteed fav.We travel great distances now that Gerry’s is no longer local, but we need a fix to ensure the legend is secured in our memories and tummies.They’ll be writing campfires about this place in years to come (if the don’t already).
