Works fine as isI once tried House-Autry chicken breader instead of bread crumbs and got a lighter coating that way.

This was really good! My husband said that this was the best schnitzel he'd ever eaten, and his mom is German! Definitely mix the lemon zest into the bread crumbs, and drizzle the fresh lemon
