We all enjoyed the soup of the day, which was a delightful tomato and basil, accompanied by garlic bread. The seafood chowder was decent, and while the roast of the day was acceptable with excellent gravy, the beef was a bit dry. The open steak sandwich and the omelette were well-received, but unfortunately, the green curry was quite bland and didn't taste like curry at all. However, considering the fantastic prices and the enjoyable decor, we were relatively impressed overall!

The coffee was exc... read more On our way back from Kaitoke, we needed a coffee fix. After reading all the great reviews, we decided to stop here, and we were not let down. The coffee was excellent, and the traditional vanilla milkshake was delicious as well, served with a friendly smile. Both are shown in the picture (though unfortunately, not the smile).
