What Chandni Patel doesn't like about Ammu South Indian:
Dosa and paneer curry was good specially lunch deal was nice. Pakoras were somewhat uncooked from inside so can be improved. Garlic roti can also be improved as it was somewhat chewy. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Parking options: Free parking lot View all feedback.
This is the best Indian food I have had in a long time. The curry flavors and naan breads were fantastic. The service was excellent and perfect for big groups. Our group of 20 received our food all at the same time. This is the best Indian restaurant in Upper Hutt. We will definitely be returning. Cheers!
The food was delicious, but the only issue was that there wasn't enough chicken in the curry, it was mostly sauce. Additionally, the naan bread was not the best. However, overall it was a very enjoyable meal.

Ordered a take away Masala Dosa, the sambar has been watered down- i see its Friday and the restaurant was packed but you should prefer your takeaway orders too with same taste. I literally couldn't finish the sambar due to lack of taste and potatoes mixture was dry too Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$10–20 Food: 1
