The food was ok, nothing really spectacular, but quite overpriced. It’s good old fashioned Belgian cooking, but at the end of the day, a stew or sausage with mashed potatoes are not dishes that should cost €25-30. The wine was very tasty. The bill came to €160, for that price we each got dessert shared one starter between the three of us in addition to our main. I was the only one with a glass of wine, the others drank 1-2 soft drinks. Service was friendly very fast, although after paying €30 for the carbonnade/flemish stew, I was frustrated that they cleared the table when I was outside for a few minutes to tend to my unruly toddler… my absent minded companions were as much to blame as the server in this case. Despite the prices, the restaurant seems popular I liked the original old school interior which counted for a nice atmosphere.
Nice authentic Brasserie interior Service horrible servant didn’t know about the wine card, the cook was drinking himself in the back of the restaurant watching football… The menu was very meaty and standard Belgium cuisine nothing with a twist. The food was far too expensive (starters started at 20 Euros) and not at all nicely arranged on the plates. The Scottish salmon didn’t taste very smoky, the Tatar looked grey and came in huge cubes. Our experience was very poor and we will not go here again. There are so many lovely restaurants in Brussels…

I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant, where a variety of vegetable dishes were placed on the table in the kitchen. Each plate had dishes with mushrooms, asparagus, beets, carrots, legumes, and more, all made with incredible ingredients and perfectly seasoned to enhance the taste of the vegetables. I was dining with someone who typically doesn't enjoy vegetables, but even they were impressed by the quality of the meal. In my opinion, it was the best vegetable lunch I have ever had.
2 that we wanted a little festive and we were filled with the experience of the curry! menu 8 services, after a delicious aperitif, from the first entry to the second dessert. A complete success! a lot of originality in the choice of herbs/perfums perfect kitchen of fish and meat (notice to vegetarians there is also at this moment a special menu of vegetables.) useless to describe each dishes because the menu is surprise and the menu seems to change all the time depending on the market. Don't miss: homemade cheeses! impeccable service. the frame could be a hotter suspicion but magic is in the plate.
We have lunch here as a couple during the resto days with a fixed menu at 39€: put in mouth flat entry dessert the price was correct regarding the quality, but never will I pay more than 50€ for the same menu in normal time the mouthing was very tasteful and for the rest it was a good attempt to use the ingredients of season (autumn) with highlight of the flavors of each raw item nothing extraordinary but dessert
First time at the spit. Probably not the last. We opted for the 6 services menu. We weren't disappointed first. Melted enough to taste the day. a sober decor, light lighting and well studied. reception, very professional, cordial and very warm at the end of the service, we must say that we like to relax the atmosphere. perfect hotel master who advised us a Serbian, tanic wine but with fruits and 40€, so nothing excessive. to begin with, a small cup of organic and/or natural champagne perfect. light and fruity bubbles, long in the mouth. 5 pleasant, surprising, with a light cheese ravioli, panais and undergrowth leaves. A real discovery. very subtle weddings of aromas and flavors. each butt is a dish in itself, architect, achi-textured too. we play on product variants, on colors, textures. has a good balance every time. Always a beautiful presentation. dishes are also at the height. Santiago-topinambour and cashew cream; the leman lake and the carrots decline; bleached foie gras and red beet with berries; Three cabbage duck magrets. well chosen titles, and better than I write here. Everything was perfect. the service followed well, a little time for the second dish, but nothing dramatic. Two desserts. chicon-leaf, a slaughter; and pear and chocolate, more classic, but with beautiful balances soft and bitter. We took a small plate of cheeses before desserts (a cabbage, or a chiche cabbage, but nothing exquisite either.) all homemade (and not only refined house.) a pure marvel with a small salad of wheat and chutney. breads and butter (one with beer) are also homemade. 120€/p frankly, they are worth it. we highly recommend.
