We loved our visit to Hotel Turkey! We chose one of the shipping containers and I’d highly recommend it. Perfect for two adults and one child. It was also far enough away from Saturday night music that our room was quiet. Cozy, cute decor, and comfortable space. The whole location is charming, we enjoyed good food all weekend and the giant sandbox with shade was perfect for entertaining our kiddo while we listened to live music! Make sure to line up your stay with their once/month Sunday BBQ lunch- seriously the best brisket I’ve ever had!! Staff were always helpful and friendly and made us feel really welcomed!
Carly worked the front desk, waited tables, came to check our room. Hardest working person I've seen. All the staff was friendly. Definitely recommend. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
Charm, charm, and more charm! Our first visit to Hotel Turkey did not disappoint. We stayed in one of the containers, which was stylish, trendy, clean, and comfortable. Live music and delicious food and drinks made for a relaxing, lovely evening on the patio. We will be back! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly
Our family of 3 including a 5-year old all enjoyed Hotel Turkey. We drove over from Lubbock for the evening and enjoyed great live music, food, and drinks! One of the managers even brought our son over a plate of french fries when we arrived because heheard him saying he was hungry. The venue was clean, everyone was friendly, and there were several other young kids around forour child to play with. We all had a great time! Look forward to coming back.
Stayed here while on a long road to visit every state park in the Panhandle. We were here on a weekend night so the restaurant downstairs got very busy and a band was playing music, it didn't get too loud in our upstairs room, and earplugs were providedif needed. This property is historic so the floors creak and the door squeak, but the wife I love historic buildings so wedidn't mind the extra character. An excellent breakfast is included and served downstairs. My wife is pretty picky about wherewe stay and what she eats but has already told me she wants to return to Hotel Turkey Caprock in the spring so I have to givethem 5 stars based on that. The hosts here are very pleasant and accommodating.
