One of the best hidden local knowledge places in Tulum. Come here because the food is remarkable, simple, classic and correct. Tacos, Ceviche, shrimp cocktail, the casual favorites. The service is enormous, led by the owner, who only seems to enjoy for you....I have both enjoyed eating there and had gone for dinner. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend this place. This casual food is expensive, often enjoying, so do.
You might think that this restaurant is a little far from downtown Tulum village, but hey, it's far closer than that on the beach! It is about 5-8 minutes walk from the satellite road (Scotia Bank . This short walk (or just take a taxi! total... I don't write reviews often, so if I do, because I really loved the place and the food. the food at la Flecha : OMG!!! delicious, just really delicious. A fish taco costs about 28 pesos, I had 4 tacos and it was perfect for someone who is quite hungry. Vegans need to try the vegano (o vegetarian, can not remember taco, that is a piece fried avocado serving in a taco Whit a bit red cabbage and a sunflower sprout. I had the best fish tostada ever: Marlin orneado, (baked Marlin feels like the fish smoked, crazy good. I went last night and the place was empty, I guess because it is located something outside the center, but really, just go! the place is clean, the ambience is beautiful and warmth, Ther Essen is great and the prices are half of what you can pay on the beach for the same or even better dishes. I highly recommend it! Also we had a super service, staff is friendly and professional, one last thing: If you like beer, you need to try Pescadores, a local microbrewery. bon appétit!
Tempura avocado tacos. Need I say more? Add some delicious pico de gallo, any of the 10+ sauces available (I was obsessed with the chipotle), a shot of mezcal, a beer, and chit chat with the friendly owner and you have yourself a damn great...meal!!
This taqueria was the discovery of the trip to Tulum and one of the best meals I had. Excellent cost-benefit ratio. The tacos made with either farina or mais (corn) were to die for. Drinks were excellent and service superb. Super fresh sea ingredients and...tacos made at the oven on the spot. Amazing experience. The restaurant is located in between the Tulum Ruins and the hotel strip, so it is a MUST STOP anytime of the day on the way to ruins. I am sure you will return (I've eaten there twice, including my last meal in Tulum, on my way back to Cancun).
We ate here on the way to Tulum and were treated with some of the best services I've ever had... everywhere. Alfonso and the other staff were super friendly, fun, helpful and made an otherwise average (quality of food) meal a fantastic experience. In fact, we turned some nights later and had a great time! The Ceviche was delicious, the rest of the things we tried, Asi, Asi.
