You might think that this restaurant is a little far from downtown Tulum village, but hey, it's way closer than the ones on the beach! it's about minutes walk from the Satellite street (Scotia Bank). This short walk (or just take a cab totally...worth it. I don't write reviews often, so when I do, it's because I really loved the place and the food. the food at la Flecha : OMG!!! delicious, simply really delicious. A fish taco will cost about pesos, I had tacos and it was perfect for someone who's quite hungry. Vegans have to try the vegano (o vegetarian, can't remember) taco, which is a piece of fried avocado serve in a taco whit a bit of red cabbage and a sunflower sprout. I had the best fish tostada ever: Marlin orneado, (baked Marlin) it feels like the fish is smoked, crazy good. I went yesterday night and the place was empty, I guess because it's located a bit off the center, but really, go there, just go! the place is clean, the ambiance is nice and warmth, ther food is great and prices are half of what you could pay on the beach for the same or even better dishes. I highly recommend it! Also, we had a super service, staff is friendly and professional oh, one last thing : if you like beer, you have to try Pescadores, a local microbrewery. bon appétit!
The owner's passion for an excellent dining experience came through with the atmosphere, service, presentation and taste! An urgent bathroom need resulted in us stopping and we're so glad it was La Flecha. The cleanliness, delightful surroundings and friendliness of staff resulted in us staying....We ordered the shrimp cocktail and as we waited, the owner presented us with a complimentary hor doeurves of homemade green chile sauce, salsa, tortilla chips and delicious rolled tortillas with filling(not sure what to call them). The not American version of the shrimp cocktail was amazing; more of a gazpacho soup base filled with shrimp, octopus, avocado, cilantro, celery, cucumber and onion. Beware of the hot peppers served on the side! The owner also offered us recommendations for other dining pleasures in Puerto Morales where we were staying which also turned out to be excellent.
