Stopped by after a nice walk in the downtown area and enjoyed an excellent coffee and snack. Busy place. Sat outside and had a good conversation with the folks at the next table, who were from Peterborough, ON.Why would you go to a chain when there is a gem like this? View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jimolly's Bakery Cafe:
I stopped by Jimollys with my husband to order coffee, tea, and a muffin. The waitress had to ask us on three separate occasions what we had ordered, as she appeared to have forgotten each time. I have visited this cafe four times, and have decided never to visit again. The servers are rude, unprofessional, and make the customer feel like an inconvenience. View all feedback.

We were there in the summer when our daughter was visiting. It is a really nice spot... felt like a tourist spot to me even though its in our town. Very different decor than the normal cafe.
Driving all day from CB to N B dropped into Truro and much to our joy found this . Instant good and chatty service and a great turkey sandwich and quiche salad . All the miserable folk complaining below must really had given off a sad aura! Thankyou
The salad bar is terrific, and you can add a protein, like home cooked turkey or ham. The cookies are a nice treat for dessert, and you can get the excellent Anchored Coffee here as well. One of my go -to lunch spots in Truro.
Recently moved to the corner of Inglis in more spaciousclocation, the cafe retained its cosy and warm athmosphere and its interesting and appealing food. Great place to have a good coffee may be a pastry with a friend or enjoy a nice wholesome lunch !c
