My crispy waffle arrived split dow... read more This is a typical pancake house experience. The staff is very attentive, but don’t expect the food to exceed average quality. My crispy waffle arrived split down the middle—one half was crispy, while the other was soggy. How does that even happen? My extra crispy bacon was limp. On a positive note, the scrambled eggs were decent, and my husband enjoyed his Big Steak omelet. Our waitress mentioned that it wasn’t as busy as she had anticipated for a Saturday, so the lack of quality isn’t justifiable due to a rush of customers. If you have specific preferences, don’t get your hopes up.

I would prefer to substitute them with Fre... read more I was trying to order from the menu, but it seems like every meal requires me to choose pancakes, which I don't want. I would prefer to substitute them with French toast or crepes, but there’s no option to do that. Instead, I'm stuck with pancakes. IHOP, please update your app menu to allow substitutions for French toast or crepes, or at least give us the option to skip it altogether.
