The Junction Bar offers attentive service and delicious food, especially the fish and chips. Their Christmas menu is a great value with large portions and friendly service. The atmosphere is fantastic, with unique themes throughout the restaurant. While the food is delicious, the portions are huge and might leave you feeling stuffed. Overall, a fabulous place to relax and enjoy gorgeous views. Just beware of long wait times during busy periods. Be sure to try the pulled pork baguette and fish pie, but maybe skip the kid's pizza. Gluten-free options are available, making it a great spot for those with dietary restrictions.

Was Anonym at The Junction a mag?
Have been passing this for years without realizing what I was missing. Food is excellent home cooked, locally sources, quality ingredients. They offer daily specials and mains are served with potatoes and vegetables, a dying art nowadays. Prices were very reasonable, portions were generous and there were lots of locals eating there a sure sign that a place is good. Covid measures were being fully enforced. They check... What John Doe dislikes about The Junction:
Even if the pub was very crowded the staff was very nice and arranged to seat us. The service was quite slow, maybe because of the many people. The fish and chips was good but the side vegetable of the baked fish were raw. View all feedback.
A lovely little bar with good food, good service and interesting locals, there is outside tables and a lovely sea view
The “fish and chips” was excellent ( desserts a little less,) very kind staff, the value for money very good. I recommend the eyes closed.

Prices were very reasonable, portions were generous and there were lots of locals eating there a sure sign that a place is good. Covid measures were being fully enforced. They checked my Covid Cert and names/phone numbers were recorded in a book. I had delicious hake in a white wine sauce with mashed potatoes, carrots, broccoli and green beans. Excellent spot.
Sometimes when I'm taking public transport between Limerick and Kilkenny, the bus is late arriving into clonmel; meaning id have to wait around town for a few hours. Usually I would be mad about this, but having an excuse to visit this café always almost leaves me excited to miss my bus
