I recently had a wonderful experience at Maisy's while visiting my relatives in the area. The hearty Irish breakfast we had was delicious and affordable. The service was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic with charming decor. What stood out the most was that the restaurant was full of locals, which I consider a great sign of a quality eatery. View all feedback.
We popped into maisys on our way to go shopping in tralee. A work colleague has told me about it and we fancied a breakfast. The restaurant is really comfy, lots of room and the staff were very welcoming. Hubby had the full monty and I had a smaller version. Lovely pot of tea, coffee and toast included in the very reasonable price. They also do an early bird menu that sounded delicious and a freebie Friday where kids eat free one per paying adult on the dinner menu. They also do Sunday lunch. Will defiantly be going back. Turn off the tralee road for kilflynn and it’s up the road a bit on a small parade of shops. Well worth the minor detour.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Chef, comes to the table for a quick chat Excellent value for money. Food of a high standard. Premises small, but not cluttered. If I did have a small fault, it would be the addition of home made fries, rather than frozen.
Had a lovely lunch here during the week with my wife and daughter toasted sandwich smoked chicken salad and wrap all delicious very friendly efficient staff and reasonably priced didn't have the roast lamb but it looked fab will be back
I was really impressed by this restaurant. Went there with my partner for Sunday dinner. The food was of a high quality and there was plenty of it served up to you. I started with a salad with chicken and bacon added and it was so fresh and tasty. Went for the steak for the main which I always want medium rare and I wasn't let down by the chef. All in all a lovely little restaurant that won't disappoint and is well worth a visit.
Ate here with friends on Friday evening. there was a Mexican theme night and all of the food was just out of this world. we had Stuffed Jalapenos, Nacho sharing plates and Some Chimmichangas for starters. washed down with our complimentary Mexican beers. and for main course, spicy beef, and Enchiladas. there was so much food we almost didnt have room for dessert but everything on the menu looked so good we really had to. the mojito cheesecake was just delicious. will be going back soon. if you are ever near Kilflynn you definitely need to stop in.
