In canary wharf it's very hard to find affordable healthy food, but I've found it in Bene Bene. Amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner foods available.

However, they have now increas... read more This restaurant used to be a great place to get a cheap and cheerful prepackaged baguette with pasta and crisps for a few pounds. However, they have now increased their prices and shifted their focus to hot food cooked elsewhere and delivered in self-service style trays. The prices have also gone up significantly, with meals now costing between six to eight pounds. I recently had a takeaway from them and was disappointed with the quality of the food - the wedges were green and the jerk chicken was dry and flavorless. I would recommend going to Tesco for a cheaper baguette, Birley for better food, or one of the bars for a more affordable and tastier meal. Bene Bene, please remember your roots and go back to serving clean and decent food at an affordable price.
