Love this place, not typical Canary prices and real good value for money. Love popping here for my lunch!
Amazing, Tasty and healthy food. Couldn't ask more from the kind staff who also serve me a delicious meal and of course a latte. In canary wharf it's very hard to find affordable healthy food, but I've found it in Bene Bene. Amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner foods available.
This restaurant used to be a great place to get a cheap and cheerful prepackaged baguette with pasta and crisps for a few pounds. However, they have now increased their prices and shifted their focus to hot food cooked elsewhere and delivered in self-service style trays. The prices have also gone up significantly, with meals now costing between six to eight pounds. I recently had a takeaway from them and was disappointed with the quality of the food - the wedges were green and the jerk chicken was dry and flavorless. I would recommend going to Tesco for a cheaper baguette, Birley for better food, or one of the bars for a more affordable and tastier meal. Bene Bene, please remember your roots and go back to serving clean and decent food at an affordable price.
Bene Bene, once celebrated for its affordable and cheerful prepackaged meals, has recently undergone a transformation that has disappointed many patrons. The shift to higher-priced, hot food served in self-service trays has led to concerns over food quality, with some dishes being criticized for lack of flavor and hygiene issues reported. Despite these setbacks, a portion of the customer base remains loyal, praising the generous portions and tasty options available. The restaurant is described as cozy with friendly service, making it a worthwhile stop for those seeking hearty meals in the competitive Canary Wharf area. However, many hope for a return to its roots.
