Italina - Tower Hamlets
Italina
Description
Italina has recently undergone changes in management, resulting in varied dining experiences for patrons. While some visitors rave about the authentic Italian cuisine, including delightful linguine vongole and rich tiramisu, others have faced disappointing dishes, from burnt pizzas to bland seafood. The ambiance tends to feel cramped, and service quality fluctuates, with some customers appreciating attentive staff while others report uncomfortable interactions. Despite its flaws, the restaurant retains charm and potential, making it worth a visit for those seeking a cozy meal—just perhaps with lower expectations. Overall, Italina remains a hidden gem with room for improvement.

This local Italian restaurant is a hidden gem with delicious food at a reasonable price. They offer a variety of tasty pizzas and traditional main courses. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my second visit and look forward to returning in the future. Definitely worth a visit!
The best Italian we've had in London. The pizzas are delicious and the pasta is perfectly al dente. The menu is limited, but everything on it is excellent.
Authentic Italian cuisine, definitely worth a try. The wine selection is also excellent.
Good wine, good food, good prices. There is nothing not to like about Italina385. I had an aperitivo (spritz). Very good! Followed by red wine by the glass (sangiovese merlot blend). Even better! For dinner, I had the rucola salad and al ragu. Both were excellent! I also followed up with dessert. Lovely! And I didn’t even try the pizza, which seems the most popular dinner option. If this restaurant were in my neighbourhood, I’d be a regular and wouldn’t look any further for authentic Italian.
