Best to book ahead, and check opening times, as not open every day. Very friendly and helpful staff, food was freshly cooked and tasty, with ample portions. Would certainly return if we were local think our friends will. Great place for a leisurely lunch, and dog friendly too.

Normally fish cakes are full of potato and little fish but I’m sure these were filled with just crab. Full of flavour! My husband had the steak, which again was cooked to perfection. What was more impressive was that the landlord was on his own, cooking AND serving! If he was stressed he didn’t show it. He apologised for the delay. Not sure what delay as we we were in and out in around an hour! Totally recommend this hidden little gem
