Was Michael Schuett at Caffino a mag?
My wife and I visited this restaurant during a weekend trip to Toronto. It was in what looked like a renovated historic building. The style of the restaurant was eclectic and a mix of European styles. The service was great from the time we arrived. We had the caprese salad which was fresh and the balsamic reduction tasty. The wife had a coffee martini which was ok but not great. The veal lemon was cooked just right a... View all feedback.
What Mohammad Effertz dislikes about Caffino:
We had a good meal, my wife had the lamb chops and I had the Pescatore, which was good, not mind blowing, which is what I would expect at the price. Service was good, but it wasn't busy at all when we were there. View all feedback.
Really beautiful back patio tucked away from the Main Street. Our server was super attentive and lovely, and the food was excellent (with many vegetarian options). An appetizer, two pastas, and two drinks ran us about $100.
My favourite restaurant on the planet. Ask to be seated in Vince’s section. I come back here every month and I will do so until they stop letting me.I highly recommend the carbonara and the calamari fritti. But really, you can’t go wrong with anything here.
Divine experience on a date here!! Literally top 3 favourite all time restaraunts in Toronto ask for Vince as your server to elevate the experience :)P.S. try the fried Calamari!!
Such a beautiful and delightful restaurant! A hidden gem in Liberty Village you must eat here! The food was delicious with the fresh made pasta and daily specials it did not disappoint. Craving Italian food near Liberty Village, I discovered this hidden gem, [Restaurant Name]. The high-end, elegant renovation creates a welcoming vibe, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. We started with Beef Carpaccio, which was fresh and flavorful. For mains, we ordered clam pasta and beef veal with risotto. The beef was slightly overcooked, but the rich red wine sauce was a standout. The clam pasta and tiramisu were decent but unremarkable. The friendly service made the experience even better, and I’ll definitely return! Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
