The high-end, elegant renovation creates a welcoming vibe, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. We started with Beef Carpaccio, which was fresh and flavorful. For mains, we ordered clam pasta and beef veal with risotto. The beef was slightly overcooked, but the rich red wine sauce was a standout. The clam pasta and tiramisu were decent but unremarkable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a traditional charm that instantly tells you you’re in for an authentic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. A special shoutout to our host, David, who provided outstanding service—professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. And now the highlight: the food. It truly captures the essence of real Italian cuisine. The pasta dishes, especially the Caffino’s Pasta and the Bianco with spicy oil, were absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. Went after an Argo game. None of us had been there before so we didn’t know what to expect. The location was so cool, going through an iron gate, we end up in this wonderful restaurant. Located in an old building the restarted so much character. High ceilings and great decor. We sat in the back part of the restaurant. We had appetizers and drinks then ordered our mains. Some of us had the specials. Delicious. I had the saffron risotto with shrimp. It was really good. Didn’t make me feel over stuffed. My husband has the chicken Parmesan and he said it was also delicious. All our plates were licked clean, lol. The server, Vincenzo was wonderful. Such a delight. And he was great at what he does. There were two other large parities of tables so the food took a little longer, but it gave us the opportunity to enjoy the ambiance and company. We will definitely be going back to this restaurant.

The style of the restaurant wa... read more My wife and I visited this restaurant during a weekend trip to Toronto. It was in what looked like a renovated historic building. The style of the restaurant was eclectic and a mix of European styles. The service was great from the time we arrived. We had the caprese salad which was fresh and the balsamic reduction tasty. The wife had a coffee martini which was ok but not great. The veal lemon was cooked just right and was served with fresh vegetables all good. Finally we had chicken pesto pasta which was also good. Over all a solid dinner. We would visit again if in town.
