What STEPHANIEB doesn't like about Trio And Pizzeria:
Trio is a long standing neighborhood Italian restaurant that has been consistent with its good service. The downstairs has a wonderful ambience. The upstairs feels like an overflow space. Sadly, I booked for a special birthday and we were put upstairs. Our group has people with mobility issues which further exacerbated the issue. Make sure you book well in advance and call to confirm what floor your table is on to av... View all feedback.
Perfect for business meeting good food, good wine selection. I friendly service and nice cozy set up with outdoor sitting as well. I love mushroom so I order all the available dishes with mushroom the appetizer, ravioli and pizza all recommended. Will be back for...sure. Good menu selection and good day specials
Went to celebrate a special occasion to this recommended restaurant. Totally disappointed! We weren 't allowed to bring our own cake unless we paid $24, but we didn 't get that far anyway. Place wasn 't busy when we arrived. Ordered 2 appetizers (for 4 of us) and...then waited over an hour for our meals. By then it was busy and those who arrived AFTER us had dined and were finished. Waiter did not pay attention to our specific food requests. Half of us didn 't eat our main courses food was absolutely tasteless nor was the appearance appealing. We got the check, paid and left. This restaurant obviously has its regulars in the area and will continue to be busy, but I certainly wouldn 't recommend it to anyone. There are far better Italian places to eat than this one.
Tasty, good quality pasta and pizza at a reasonable price.. Daily specials are a good choice. Clean white table cloths provide an upmarket atmosphere. Popular restaurant, best to reserve ahead.
This was recommended by a friend. My husband had pizza, which was raw in the middle and not all that tasty. I ordered carpaccio, it was well presented and the flavours in the dressing were different but still tasty. Waitresses attitude put us off.
If you drive fast you will miss it ….This little Gem on Yonge street, is the place to go IF you want good Italian Food at reasonable prices ,I have been here often, have never been disappointed ,they have a great menu several Specials...of the day ,they also have a Pizza Oven at the back of the restaurant to make your personal Pizza 's. The owner is Eduardo a real nice guy ,he makes it a point to come say Hello to all his guests, and to make sure you got what you ordered. My favourite is the House made Hot Sauce ,,it is a family secret ,and really compliments the dishes ...You have to ask for it.. The place is small ,but they have just opened an upstairs. The place is always packed ,so I would make a Reservation . You wont be disappointed.
