Charming historic home with a courteous and accommodating host. There is a restaurant on the premises. The location is rural, with no nearby shops within walking distance. Ratings: Rooms: 4, Service: 4, Location: 3.
The rooms could use some updates, but the charm of the place is undeniable. Both the dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, thanks to the staff and kitchen. The value was excellent as well. It's a shame that it's set to be redeveloped, as it will be hard to replicate this experience and value unless the new operators are very attentive. Room rating: 3.
Beautiful location, excellent staff and service, and exquisite food! We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here, and this wasn't our first visit—we would definitely love to come back. Ratings: Rooms: 4, Service: 5, Location: 5.
The rooms could be updated but there's no taking away from the charm of the place. The evening meal and breakfast were absolutely top notch. The overall experience was really great so well done to the staff and kitchen. Very good value too. Pity it's about to be redeveloped in a way.
