However, at a price of £14.95, I felt like I was overcharged as the portion size was small in comparison to what our friends received. The staff could be more attentive as we had to wait a while to order dessert and eventually had to go to the bar to ask for the bill. When I got home, I had beans on toast as I was still hungry. The manager showed no interest and dismissively brushed off my concerns. I will not be returning and will opt to spend my money at the Gardeners Arms next time for better value.
