We have come to this family pub for the first time, and I am blown away the food is so lovely and I just want to say that Ross was so helpful and such a lovely person, he definitely made us feel very welcome so I would definitely recommend and totally give this a 5
£12 for two carveries this day age is remarkable. The meat is good quality, the veg is fresh and it comes with all the trimmings, yorkshire pudding, stuffing, gravy.The staff is pleasant and the premises are spotless. Yes, a bit of updating wouldn’t go a miss but times are difficult. The few bad reviews on here are obviously from people who want 5* on a budget so good luck to them. Absolutely fabulous dinner party for 16 year old...Lesley and her team went out of their way to make it special...great value... definitely back soon. Keep your local going use it or lose it. Fab pub; great carvery and full menu
