Shoryu Manchester is excited to welcome you to our very first ramen bar outside of London, serving up the beloved flavors of authentic Hakata tonkotsu ramen right in the heart of Manchester. Conveniently located just a short stroll from Manchester Piccadilly Station and the vibrant Northern Quarter, we're here to satisfy your ramen cravings. Can’t find a table available online? No problem at all! We always reserve a handful of tables for walk-ins, so just drop by, and we'll do our utmost to accommodate you. Please bear in mind that reservations are set for 90 minutes. If you wish to stay longer, just let a member of our restaurant team know when you arrive. As a reminder, our menu is not gluten-free due to the nature of our kitchens. Unfortunately, the food at Shoryu in London is far superior.
We opted for the £23 meal deal, which was discounted to £18.40 with 'TheFork'. We needed detailed explanations of the dishes due to a member of our group having a mushroom allergy. The service was outstanding! The food was also delicious. We were able to enjoy our meal without worrying about any allergy reactions. We will definitely be returning.
Nice servers but food was a bit slow and arrived a bit cold
Overall a bit strange. We were early before they opened so to kill some time my friends got a coffee next door. But then weren’t allowed to have the coffee at the table outside…? Just seems a bit picky for a restaurant that was not very busy. Since we were outside we had to pay for the meal before it arrived. Not a big deal just felt all a bit weird and sterile. Ambience feels commercial and the food was a bit bland—ramen was lukewarm. Wouldn’t return…
