Description
Nestled in a charming old-school setting, this BBQ joint evokes nostalgia while offering a mixed bag of culinary experiences. Diners rave about the delicious pork, flavorful hash, and generous portions, particularly enjoying the moist ribs and well-priced sandwiches. The friendly staff enhances the inviting atmosphere. However, not all patrons share the same enthusiasm; some found the chicken underwhelming and the sides lacking seasoning. Despite occasional criticisms, the restaurant remains a beloved spot for hearty comfort food, with standout desserts that capture the heart of its visitors. Overall, it’s a place where BBQ dreams can either soar or stumble.

Great prices and huge portions! We ordered the rib and pulled pork dinner, which came with a generous serving of hash, two sides, three pieces of bread, and a drink. The ribs were juicy, and the pulled pork was served moist. The coleslaw and potato salad had a nice tang to them, although the beans seemed to come straight out of a can. We also tried a side of hush puppies, which were delicious. The staff at this cozy BBQ joint were friendly and helpful.
Was my first time thereLooked like an old bbq jointSmelled like an old bbq jointInside had that old bbq joint vibeJust what I was looking forGot a bbq plate, that hash freaking Rocked! Thick not all runny. Great texture and flavorAnd the pork, good thing the sauce is on the side, because the way they serve it you don't need to add anything to it.(If you do, I guess you're the kind of person that puts A1 on a good steak too ?
Tried this place for the first time today. Sadly, this was the worst BBQ I have ever had. The chicken was unseasoned and dried out. The Hash was swimming in liquid with very little rice. The baked beans and green beans also had no seasoning. Disappointed I drove all the way down there. ?
