What Neal likes about The Observer Hotel:
If your an Australian you have to go to this pub, just for its location, and that is what I did. It was great to sit inside with a beer and feel the history of the place, which is helped by all the memorabilia around the walls. This was really a great experience. View all feedback. What Alice Johnson doesn't like about The Observer Hotel:
The beverage menu was extensive and the cocktail list was extensive and the rum range excellent. The quality of the drinks was very good, well presented and enjoyable. We ordered bread dip to enjoy with them but we were still waiting for an hour after the order was placed, after checking twice on the progress so we canceled it as we decided to leave and try somewhere else. read moreThe Observer Hotel has been a long-standing favorite for many, but recent changes in staff and service have left longtime customers feeling disappointed. However, for those who are willing to give it a chance, stepping inside reveals a cozy and intimate atmosphere perfect for enjoying a night out. The friendly and patient staff are ready to guide you through the menu and drink options. While there have been some issues with booking and closing times, the overall experience seems to have varied, with some enjoying delicious food like calamari and chicken wings, while others found the menu to be basic. Despite these mixed reviews, the Observer Hotel's location in The Rocks makes it a convenient spot for tourists and locals alike. So, whether you're stopping by for a drink or a quick bite, this historic pub may still be worth a visit.
