Expect Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot to wander past at any moment.Cream tea was perfect, fresh hot scones with clotted cream, jam and strawberries, finger sandwiches in our case smoked salmon, egg, ham and cucumber, and moist cake lemon drizzle and chocolate. A perfect afternoon transported a back to a bygone age.

Served in lovely china and from a quality Tea Pot sounds a little pretentious but sometimes its nice to step back in time and enjoy life.

The evening Meal was a... read more We had both Breakfast and Dinner in the Restaurant on both days during our 2 night stay . The Breakfast a Buffet and excellent quality . The evening Meal was a real pleasure. I love the fact that when you book for Dinner they ask for a time you would like to eat and ask that you arrive in the Lounge/Bar 30 minutes prior to peruse the Menu and order and then when you are seated at your Table your meals is then served . The food was beautifully cooked and was delicious . Highly recommend .
