we came to a family birthday and needed somewhere that allowed dogs. the restaurant was really busy with many families, so I would recommend booking in advance. the lunch menu on Sunday had a lot of variety we ordered, pork, bark meat fish and chips. the food was excellent! delicious and the portion size was very generous. it is probably the best pork I have ever! we had teenage boys, but there were people with young... What Carrie Mcqueen doesn't like about Albion House:
We ate at 5pm. The only meat available was beef. No more chicken available and 1 veggie option. The beef was not to its normal standard and roast potatoes quite hard. Felt like the left overs of the lunch period. Tiny portion of cabbage and one carrot Disappointing as previous roasts have been good. Serving roast all afternoon to early evening should mean there is still freshly cooked food and choice still available. View all feedback.
Me my wife previously visited this restaurant a few times last year so thought we would return to see if it was still as good as before. Although the staff were different, we can confirm that this place is still superb, so good in...fact that we visited three times within the same week. Liam looked after us on all our visits this week can confirm that his politeness, friendliness general all round service was superb, he was part of the reason we returned each time, well done thank you Liam. Me my wife shared many items drinks on the menu, all of which were absolutely outstanding reasonably priced, nothing detrimental to say whatsoever. The whole restaurant Hotel just has a really nice ambience to it, very clean well maintained along with quality fixtures fittings, we will definitely return on our next visit to Ramsgate.
We had a family lunch of delicious fish and chips with minty peas. The service is exceptional from reception through to waiting staff. The staff are warm and friendly and there is a laid back atmosphere. I highly recommend the fish and chips
My score reflects my comments and not the quality of the food. We arrived for a breakfast and was greeted lovely by the hostess on the front dest and showed us to our table, we had two Albion English breakfast and two lattes and I...ordered extra bacon. The quality of the food we received was great, lovely and hot the eggs were tasty .....but the problem we had was we only got half a mushroom ......each. For a breakfast to add that slice of bacon was a shocking total cost one would of thought a whole mushroom would of made the plate for a premium breakfast in a fine establishment. Very disappointing
Staff, short menu, well-designed dishes. added to the albion house hotel, this casual but smarte spot brings a safe hand to its bistro style offer. for me the onion was especially good with radishes and a cod with mushes and a crumb. everything I would say is adventurous and scattered beyond the fish and chips or steak and they will be rewarded.
